Here’s a tutorial video that will show you how to easily make charcoal using paint cans and it’s something you’ll probably find useful any time soon.
The process is very straightforward and you only need to place the wood inside the paint can, seal it and place it in a fire. The whole idea is just to simulate pyrolysis (charcoal making process) which in simple terms is just about taking all the vapors out of the wood until it turns into charcoal.
So if you ever need charcoal next time but cannot find anything available, you can surely try this one out. One great survival DIY and who knows, anyone can make a small business out of this too.
