Be it a big celebration or just a simple dinner with the family, ice creams seem to be never absent as dessert. More often than not, the ice cream being served comes in gallons, the ones that we buy in stores. But here’s a thought, what if you make your own?
Besides the fact that it would only take you two ingredients and a mixer, your family would really be delighted because nothing beats a good ice cream especially when done with full effort and love. Sweet! (figuratively and literally)
So here’s how to do it, you mix together condensed milk and cream until it has a thicker consistency. Then the next thing you need to do is to decide which flavor you would want to put on your ice cream base.
Adding flavor is a piece of cake. For example, cookies and cream, you must not crush the cookies too much, you leave big and small pieces of it intact. Then add it up to your ice cream base and blend it (but not too much). Let it sit in the freezer for a night or so, to achieve that irresistible sweet “icy” feeling.
