Here’s an awesome build that will help demonstrate the core principle behind how DC motors work. The materials needed for this are mainly those that are just commonly found at home and the steps may really have to put you on serious work but its definitely fun.
DC motors may be inexpensive and readily available but making your own and following this video tutorial gives you some light about electromagnetism and it practices you to build things the engineer’s way. This makes a good science project or demonstration too!
